Anyone ever have your mouse's pointer running all over your screen when you leave it alone or have difficulty controlling the pointer as you try to use it?
What is the problem? and how to solve it?
What kind of mouse are you using? On what surface? Do you have anything on the surface to prevent such issues from occurring?

Yes... especially those rather reflective and smooth surfaces. They particularly affect optical mouse, so you need a surface that doesn't reflect much and is not very smooth (not too rough either, else mouse can't move).
Try using an exercise book, it will be better. Or get a proper mousepad.

Sorry about late reply, I usually don't go online during the weekdays.
I am using a wireless, battery driven mouse. I think it works on infra-red signal - I think so.
The problem is that the mouse can move - jerking movement, even leaving it alone. Sometimes I have difficulties controlling - ie moving/using it.
Anyone encountered this problem before? How you solve it? Just wondering if it can be virus or malware etc.
Optical mouse always have this problem when placed on reflective surfaces...
