Which would you recommend?
MacBook
MacBook Air
MacBook Pro
I'm just a regular user, no heavy graphics. Leave my laptop at home while at work. Use it for music, watch movies, and the occasional photo/video editing.
Macbook Pro since you are Photo and video editing.
there's a new 13 inch macbook pro now..
I say, go for the Macbook Pro 13.3 inch (which used to be your regular unibody Macbook). The Pro 15/17 inch range is for those who REALLY do intensive workloads all the time. The 2.4GHz Macbook Pro 13.3 inch should fit the bill, enough for the occasional editing with Photoshop/Elements thing.
i'd spend 100 dollars more for mac aluminium rather than the new macpro, given that the specs are better.
I find the 13inch Macbook pro with the 2.53ghz's specs quite good.
4GB DDR3, 250GB, Nvidia Geforce 9400M (intergrated)
for only $2,488 and extra $300 if you want the 15 inch.
Sometimes I really wonder why must it cost so much to upgrade 2 inch when you don't get any difference between them other than the screen size. Probably to maintain their high profit margins, still I still love Apple & if they can drop their price just by at least $100 - $200 than I happy liao.

The 15-inch and 17-inch models have switchable graphics, integrated 9400M and dedicated 9600M GT.
So should the TS want to play alot of games on the Mac, on Windows, or Paralells, or CrossOver, advisable to go for at least the 15-incher. If just regular things and some Photoshop/Elements/Premiere, the 13 inch is fine.
ok so 13" MacBook pro it is!
Anyone using the MacBook air? how is it compared to the other MacBooks? Worth the additional few hundred dollars?
Macbook air is expensive just for the thiness. Don go for it. Its almost the same except no cd slot i think. You check first. I not sure. Cause i gtg. Stay with Macbook pro.
why would you even consider air when you're not going to take it around? paying extra for the thinness that you do not need..........

I just hate companies that like to *amaze* people and suck their money into it.
I'd recommend you get the MacBook for the specs...but Air looks really good lol.
I bought mine at EpiCentre, can go there and take a look...their service is quite good.
