anyway, i believe my 3870x2 does suffer from it, When i play games it will run very fast for a few seconds, then have a significant lag then fast again..sth liddat
I also liked the armouruit last time, but because of the pricing i decided not to get it.
aiya, work part time for the money lor, or can do data recovery to earn some cash
I find that data recovery is a very good way of earning money if the harddisk is not damaged too badly, as long as it is not the internal platters that are damage, softwares and abit of hands on may still be able to recovery some data
Data recovery I got do, as long as the essential portions not affected then can lor. Put drive in external eSATA, plug in and copy. (My method, seems to work fine for my 3 drives which dunno why fail also, all 500GB drives . Every 5/6 months will fail liao). MPT, you still schooling ah? Not yet NS or anything? Cos maybe I wanna work WHEN I'm 16, but see first lor. Where you work?
lol help me in my thread TY lol. Btw pillow nice cooler.

ok lah, i have burned hitachi hdd before, but not during data recovery, but during installation
Change the circuit board lah, not desolder it. Anyway if going to desolder one part just use a repairing station to melt the solders can liao
You have transfer the platters before? i never tried, cos scared later touch liao have static then later scratch
i work at mynextcom, cos now in poly so onli work during sundays of term break
after my o level and poly that period i work almost everyday, morning must open door and sometimes many ppl come in and talk talk talk, some customer like to ask stupid questions also

Transfer platters got try before, but, got really scared. Glass platter mah. One wrong touch can demagnetise the platters, then die liao. I tried before on an old 40GB (Was it? Can't remember) IDE drive. Transfer, then still cannot read, but that one is I think improper placement, or that I damaged the platters.
I've definitely been to that shop. One of the higher floors, was it? 5th floor, IIRC?
cool..

the centurion 5 is also very strong
asus vento casing is decent lor. when i first saw the casing i wasnt convinced cos it had a badge that was slanted =x
den i bought it, put some shit in it from an old p4 pc so i could use it as a small living room media centre (try try first) and the casing didnt look quite that bad in the living room. i accidently dropped it while pulling it out the box, and there wasnt a problem with it, so thumbs up :)
anw, the one i got wasnt the full atx one but the matx sized minitower.
still waiting till after end of o's to start my major rebuilding of pc.
and yes, im serious on continuing the use of my matx siezed hp media center casing

But cannot leh. HDDs all Vacuum packed (to seal in freshness?). Open the casing means air pressure all wonky. When I put together the assembly, the thing went 'click-click-click'. Lucky that one out of warranty, out of service, out of lifespan. I'm a curious little bugger
