I am finding a gaming pc from Acer , Hp or Dell.
Must be around $1000 to $2000.
Can any 1 give mi any idea and the model too .
Thk
Laptop, eh? Gaming laptops with ACCEPTABLE gaming performance isn't hard to find. Just look at SLS or Funan. I saw a Gateway FX laptop, 2.4GHz P8600, 4GB DDR3, 1GB NVidia GeForce 9800M GTX for less than 3k. Or you could get an MSI Eclipse series, you can find some at SLS. OR ASUS G series, at Funan or SLS, as well. HP, Dell and Acer don't manufacture good gaming laptops. I recommend ASUS, though. Stable, good build quality, even for their 'gaming' netbooks.
asus laptops nowdays not bad for gaming, might want to consider
Oh yeah, Gaming laptops under 2k are very hard to find, since most will use entry-level graphics (8400M/9300M/G105M, anyone?)
commonplace brands like hp acer and dell dont usually come up with gaming laptops.
dell ones are more general or business orientated, while acer and hp ones are more of multimedia entertainment centre than gaming lapotp
Dell Studio 15 - Mobility Radeo HD 4570
Dell Studio XPS 16* - Mobility Radeon HD 3670
Asus F81Se - Mobility Radeon HD 4570
Asus N81Vg* - GeForce GT 120M
BenQ S42* - GeForce 9600M GT
* = will stretch ur budget by at most $300 more...

Agree, part of their specs seem impressive enough for gaming, but combo with the other hardware and they give shit.
another option: International Order...
I just imported a Asus N81Vp from Amazon.com
total dmg is SG$2075, which include laptop + shipping (vPost) + GST + insurance
downside is u need to wait 2 weeks for it to come...

$1000 to $2000 can only get average specs gaming notebook
, can try Gateway NV4804g, if willing to spend more try Asus/Gateway of higher specs,
depend what kind of game u play too.
get asus ....
ASUS or Gateway is fine. both are excellent, though I would prefer if you go for ASUS. More stylish than Gateway, and has better warranties.

i ched the link, but laptops says th item can only be shipped within USA. so why post the link there?
I dont understand it.
u get Amazon to send the goods to vPost USA's collection center in California or Oregon, then vPost will process ur package and send it back to SG once u pay for the shipping...

yes u can do that, but iirc it's more expensive this way interms of shipment... initially i wanted to order from one of the e-tailers in ebay, but they charge US$129 to get it send to SG within 5 days using USPS
in coparison using vPost, SinPost charge me approx. SG$100 for the shipping, which comes within 8 days after the goods reach their collection center... throw in GST and insurance,it's SG$295...
Woah, illuminated keyboard, this is indeed a monster.
