Last time I am i sim lim square and the salesman there tell me that we can modified our ptinter by adding extra tank outside the printer and etc. Is that true? Any others kind of modifaication can be make? Will that spoil my printers?
As for compatible ink, what do everybody think about it? Is it nice? Is it safe to use?
THe adding tank outside one im not sure
im using compatible ink, from singink on my epson
SOmetimes when the printer says 'exhausted' catridge, is actually the 'timer' in the chip of the catridge is up( if im correct).
I seen online forums that they say u can change the chip using programs, but i tink it is quite hard.
Compatible ink should be safe, on my samsung laser printer, i bought the compatable 'powder' and pour them into my toner

same as MyPillowTalks, I not sure about adding extra tank
same as MyPillowTalks, im using compatible ink also, from ORINK on my HP deskjet printer
the quality is exactly the same as original HP cartridge and no compromise
but one thing i had experienced, is that one of my compatible ink is also susceptible to deterioration due to time, as I print very little things at home, and thus i had been continuing to use my compatible ink cartridge from 2006 until recently, and the cartridge leaked ink. That means, after almost 2.5 yrs, cartridge will become lousy, so therefore, if you use compatible ink cartridge, i suggest use finish all the ink within the expiry date.
for your info, i think i have used about 3 of them, only the latest one (above-mentioned) brought me little issue, other than that, is okay and cheaper than original ones. Now I am using the 4th one.
and for your info, even original HP cartridge aren't spared of deterioration. i once bought an original HP cartridge, and when i opened the box, it was already leaking ink inside
