Unable to view chinese characters

  Hi,

  I just purchased a new laptop. Transferred my songs and realised I am not able to view those song titles which are in chinese characters. They showed up as squares only. How do I go about it?

  download a patch from microsoft. and it shall be solve.

  Go to Control Panel > Regional and Language Options > Languages

  Then check "Install files for East Asian languages".
