wanna get ram to upgrade.. lappie too slow already :(
anyone knows where to get..? yaa i know simlim's e best place to get IT stuff.. any shops to recommend (that u always patronize) over there...? help people!
manymany thanks
Why not just go down to the IT Co-op at YIH?
looking for cheaper alternatives fudgie.. :( am broke....
Hmmm..... in that case, I'm not sure exactly what stores to recommend at Sim Lim.
I assembled together my PC at a shop called prolink.com on the fifth floor.... they have quite good service. But I don't think they sell laptop RAM modules.
Whatever the case, look out for shops with the 'Star Retailer' orange star..... they are supposedly the more trustworthy ones.
You need to do some leg therapy... even if the shop sells 2nd hand RAM, it might not be suitable for you and best bring your lappy there and test on the spot.

I believe they can fix it in for you as long as the RAM slot is in a readily-accessible location.
My old laptop had a small removable panel that allowed for easy access to the RAM slot.

Nowadays alot of laptops and desktop have those easy access to rams and gfx card. Cause they know we are in the need for latest.

NUS IT Co-op is at YIH, but I'm not sure if they do RAM upgrades. They do Vista downgrades, but not sure about RAM upgrades.
