IE problem on add-ons

My Internet Explorer (IE) shows that my IE is currently running with add-ons disabled. It disables anything with video feature.
I can't view anything on youtube at all. The message on youtube says java scripts and all activeX controls to have been turned off. The stupid message "Internet explorer is currenly running withadd-ons disabled. click here to manage, disable, or remove your add-ons." keep popping up non-stop.
I have checked the 'Manage add-ons' under options and all are enabled. I have tried disabling and enabling but nothing changes. I can't find anything to remove add-ons. I have scanned my system with anti-virus and spyware and there is nothing wrong.
I have installed IE 8 and the problem went away and came back when I turn on my PC again.
Sorry I am only an end user. Anyone knows how I can enable my add-ons? many thanks in advance.

My fd told me IE 8 is unstable as it is still on trial, so I uninstalled IE 8.
But the add-on being disabled problem still persist.
I tried using Mozilla and I can log on to my school webpage. But can't see the notes on line as it keeps logging me out when I use Mozilla.
dam liddat how to study from home...
I tried to go to 'manage add-ons' but everything is enabled.

Problem solved.
IE 8 is the cause. IE 7 is fine.

hmm... mi got another problem with ie... when I start it... had to wait for very long till it load the first page... but opening new windows from that do not require the wait time.
Most of the time, my windows explorer got problem and need to restart the first time i start it... am using vista... anyone know the problem?
