Microsoft offers free softwares to students

Under Microsoft DreamSpark program*, which has been expanded to include Singapore now(the other thread dated Feb didnt had it then) offers free softwares including licenced copies of Windows Server Operating System to all Polytechnic Students and certain schools.
The applicable parties are
Nevertheless, simply sign in with ur official school email to be authenticated.
Some points of interest is the free Windows Server 2003
and 2008 OS, which may be useful if u are a IT geek

To register, students must visit the Dreamspark Website and verify their identities
Poly students may already have this pre-installed on their laptops, but this allows them an additional licence to be installed and used on their Home PCs.

All you need to do is to log in to Windows Live with you school's email account!!!

i dunno freeware tt is as good as MS office
i can oni find those that are better than MS office
