Excel file size grows bigger and bigger

Hey why does my excel file grows bigger and bigger everytime i re-use and save the new information on my old template. Though the new information that i have added is not much at all.
Any bugs in the excel file?
Any ways to reduce the file size other than cut and paste the information onto another sheet?

What is "bigger"? Like how many bits and bytes?

ya like bytes..
First time, it was 2MB
Then a week later, i adjust the data and resave the information. It become 3MB
and so fro... It wasn't a lot of additional information that i have input.

maybe urs was a 'high 2MB" at first and when you added the data it was just enough to get a "low 3MB"?

Not an expert, but maybe google can help you better.

if you're using an old version of Excel, open up the file and do a "File->Save As".

1 letter about 1 byte
including spaces, and all sorts of punctuation, one pie chartb may be 100kb and so on, so is normal
