Alright I need quick answers here so I think it's best for me to post here instead of the IT forum. FI sry sry....
Right now I'm on Starhub maxonline express 8mbps plan. Each time I do a speedtest from speedtest.net I get a range from 0.5mbps - 3+mbps. Rarely do I get a speed above 5 or 6. It fact most of the time it's around 1-2mbps. I keep getting excuses from Starhub that it's not their problem blah blah blah... Just got off the phone from a technical staff who said he'll call later on.
So what I would like you guys to do is to do me a favor and do a speedtest of your connection and state which plan and isp provider you are currently under. I'm hoping to be able to show the guy this thread when he calls to prove that it's a real issue that I'm having right now. Thanks much.

I'm also using Starhub 8mbps plan. During non-peak hour, my speed can reach 11mbps. During peak hours like now, I get about 4 or 5 mbps.

My speed is generally quite slow but still can tolerate it la...

Thanks guys for all the replys that I've gotten. Since there is enough evidence here that my connection is on the lagging end, I'll see if starhub is going to give any other excuses.
