My internet access have been randomly cut off these days. For example I was surfing normally when suddenly I can't login to MSN nor use the net while it shows I'm still connected to the internet even after I reboot my computer. Any idea how to solve it? I'm using Singnet btw..
last time was starhub had this prob .
now its solved .
singtel's turn
I'm using singnet too, and been having that problem more frequently the past weeks. Actually it's been slower than usual ever since i change my modem to their mioBox (though I'm only use it for my broadband).
yesyes some problem -.-
there are problems with their DNS servers and that causes the problems...
I guess a lot of people are choking the network with Bit Torrent as well...
I am not sure if anyone else have the same problem, butever since yesterday, my internet connection has been very slow. And when i download files, the download speed is very slow. I am using singnet btw.
JUst wanna check if anyone else has this problem?

You using Bit Torrent in the first place?
You mentioned when you download files, the download speed is very slow. When it started, was it pretty high and the speed declined after a short while?
usually when people use torrent and when they never config it properly your internet will be slow
sometimes it's the wiring in the house that's causing the problem... the 2WIRE HGV modem can't connect properly to the telecomms server at a main block...
try to restart yr connection if can bahs. i last time also like that..
it happened to me too last yr i tink, constant disconnection darn irritating, it resume normal after like 1 week for me? tht was horrible!
Still no solution?
Still no solution? I'm still facing with this problem and it doesn't come from the wiring.
One time, my problem was solved because the Singtel tech guy changed a component (that's what he said) at the Exchange Box (far away from the house.)
