Storing to factory settings

  Hi all. If I'm not wrong, every brand of computers have a shortcut key to restore the computer to factory settings right?

  For e.g. acer's is Alt + F10 when the screen is at startup. Anyone care to tell me what is the shortcut for IBM's?

  We can also share the other brands for the benefit of everyone. Cheers and thanks!

  I think what you are refering to is the computer bios. Inside the computer bios, there is an option that allows you to restore your computer to its default / factory settings. Different bios and computer makers uses different keys for accessing bios, so I not exactly sure which key is used for ibm computers. You can try the following keys when your computer boots to access your computer bios: 1. DEL 2. ESC 3. F2 4. ALT+F2 5. F1 6. F10 7. F12 Those are some of the common keys used to access bios, there may also be some other combination keys I do not know of.
