My words become smaller, how sia?

  After I reformat my com, the words I see in various websites become "thinner and smaller".

   

  Hard for my eyes to read... Is there any ways for me to change the words font or size?

   

  I tried

   

  a. internet properties --> font (not working)

  b. control panel --> font (nothing there)

  c. from internet windows --> view --> text size (not what i want also)

   

  So how? Even the words i read here is too "thin" for my liking.

  Guys, I tried the methods you people suggested.

   

  Okay it really become bigger. But the overall layout also increase. I want to retain the default page size and at the same time, see bolder words.

   

  Guess its impossible bah? Nah beh, I should not have reformatted my com. Shag it.

  I know... but whats the point. I think no use showing... i tried so many ways related to font changing... nothing seems to let me get back to my pre format font.

  using 800 by 600 or 1240 by 1040?

  Did you install IE 8 recently ?

  The installation of IE 8 and silverlight 2 has made my fonts smaller.

  I get by using 125% viewing on IE 8.

  TS, try this..

  Right click on Desktop -> Properties -> Settings Tab -> Advance -> General Tab -> (Display) DPI setting change to 120?
