Basically yes. Integrated GFX can be found under the little heatsinks of the NB(Those small little protruding fins at the center of the board.
Dedicated GPU's come in cards like the one above.
Integrated GFX are usually terrible, except maybe the ones like NVidia 8200 (AMD) and ATi's HD3200. But those are meant for HTPCs, with HDMI output and built in HD/H.264 decoder (NVidia PureVideo HD or ATi Unified Video Decoder 2.0) . IMO, NVidia's integrated 9300 and 9400 GPUs are the best integrated ones. Can handle GTA IV .
For dedicated, those like S3 Chrome 440 GTX (Wah seh, sound so power man! Got GTX some more!), stay away. Expensive, yet weak. Might as well get a 9-series from NVidia or HD3xxx from ATi. Dont be fooled by the GTX suffix.
