is it advisable to buy new budget printer?

  mine is lexmard about 5 years old.. i think the ink is quite costly...

  is the new model of printer nowadays ink much efficient and thus more worth it...

   

  i am thinking whether it is wiser to buy a new one or use the old printer still , just have to buy its ink... its black ink is about 30 plus already for small one...

  Then you scout for the cheapest ink before buying the printer lor... Best... Write all your documents then you save a lot.

  thanks....for some of the advice.. greatly appreciated.. is there any difference between the costs of ink for different brands....

   

  Is also the ink much cheaper already compared to five years ago.. if it is still about the same.. then there is no point buying  a new one..

  lexmark printer good. Seldom spoil cos you are actually changing the print head when you buy a new print cartridge.

  My home hv bout 3 printers(for inkjet only)
  Reason is that last time the replacement ink price when added up, better off buying a new printer that come with another set of spare ink cartraige.Cost issue..

  Average inkjet now is less then $100/- some about $59.90/- also can get.(Old model)

  Get a new printer might be more ideal as get warrenty,everything new >> also comes with ink cartriage...Very Worth It de...
  
  *If you would like to still use your old printer, you go sim lim square the lvl 5 IIRc the "Singink" buy their replacement ink set..a set bout $70/- For this price you are getting 4 bottles of different colour ink which is alot more than a standart cartiage for each colour.

  Money is yours, you can spent it the way you like>get a laser printer also good, more cost saving if you got large amount to print like me..

  i m still using my 1st printer until now leh, 15 years liao, u can't find this printer selling in shops outside animore HP Deskjet 500C (black and colour).  since 1994.  surprising it has never failed me.  but me oso not quality-savvy type so now i m stilll printing at 300dpi deskjet.

  computer dunno spoil how many times liao change and repair so many different things liao printer still there. sometimes i dun believe oso

  cartridge now i buy their no-name one roughly each selling 2 for ard $20~$30 ba. my cartridge can print quite a lot
