Gmail virus

  There seem to be a virus in my gmail, because it sent out a spam email to all my contacts .. then today when i tried to compose a new message, the contents of the spam mail is inside the new email ..

  How to get rid of it?

  Try going doing online scan @ trendmicro .. There are somethings AVG cant detect one.. Delete all your cache or better still use disk clean up.

  I delete my cache everytime i exit from firefox ..

  now i'm at my work computer, but my gmail also seemed affected ..

  so i duno if its just gmail affected or the whole computer..

  Try dele ete all yoru spam mails and unwanted mails .. Only this particular gmail acct like that?

  checked my setting, the spam email was embedded into my signature and it was turned on, so i kept seeing that spam message when i compose a message..

  i deleted the message and then changed my password already..

  hope it can help ..

  later when i get home then i try to scan my computer again..

  then should be fine once your get it out of your signature?

  and ask your friends to warn you about such mails if they still get.

  anyway next time hor, if want to use email to sign up for some non-proper or dubious things please use another email account that you don't use as your main account.

  no lah I'm serious, like if you want to sign up for some lucky draws or some other thing that might lead to spam. Better to use your "spam email account" instead of your main one
