currently i am using window xp, i am the only admin user however when i press ctrl+alt+del, it show a error sign stating that the admin has disable it..

most likely the feature had been disable via policy manager.
whatever the reason, the following link should solve the problem for you.
Some malware will also disable it, even the display properties.
try using Ctrl + Shift + Esc
