This is my desktop promblem and i am unable to start my CPU at all, because of that blinking power supply light.
i have tried all the steps except for the last one where i need to mess around with the mother board.
i am at a lost here, i remeber last night it was still working fine, and the next day i got this promblem, dunno what happen.
i was thinking is it possible to actually take out the C drive of my CPU so that all the datas inside would be accessable ? sth like using the same C drive but in a different CPU.
or is there some other way to get the datas out from my CPU ?
thanks in advance .
Does it still beep?

no it doesn't.
try to take out the ram and wipe it... then put it back.
Try switching the power supply unit if you have an extra one lying around. And to your question, yes, you can remove the HDD from your system, plug it to a converter and use it on another system like an external HDD.

You first need to know whether your HDD is a SATA or an IDE one.

To remove it, just unscrew it from your casing and detach it from the data cables and you're done. Then go to one of the stores at SLS and ask for a SATA/IDE-to-USB converter (aka external HDD casing - not the one that comes with a HDD inside). Make sure it's for 3.5" HDD. It shouldn't cost you too much, probably below $50.
