How to cure this???

  hi all.. recently when i right click on my C drive.. it show me some tupid wording.. where as normally i should get something like this.. so any one know how to solved??

  u using window xp ??? try this see it work ..
  
  go control panel > regional and language control > under Regional option and Advanced tab check that both is set to english (united state)
  
  or maybe yr system font is corrupted ... check what font u r using if tahoma font .. u can try getting the tahoma font from another pc and replace yr current copy

  I don't think it's caused by font file corruption or misconfiguration of language settings. There's a similar autorun.inf virus case found on TSG Forums.

  i think you have been infected by the TPTG virus. Last yr alot off ppl got it at campus when we shared thumbdrives...best way is to reformat your C drive. Store your important files in another hardrive then reformat.
  I used this method and it worked in the past but its easier for me because I just reformatted the thumbdrive. Yours is alot more depressing since its the C drive.

  i think you have been infected by the TPTG virus. Last yr alot off ppl got it at campus when we shared thumbdrives...best way is to reformat your C drive. Store your important files in another hardrive then reformat.

  hey hey sorry latercomerX.. me used to sai..

  ha ha. my bad..

  anyway... think wat i need now is i cannot update..

  dun know why.

  so alternative is i used friend computer to DL the update then copy to my PC..

  just 1 thing.. if i update via my friend PC... which file i needed to copy over to my PC then???

  anyway... my PC still cannot open hidden file..
