Spoilt Audio Port at CPU

  any remedies if the audio port where you connect your speakers to is spoilt? The green colour port with ....I thought it's the speaker problem..but tested it on different comps, it's ok...

  where to buy ah? the usb sound card..that means the sound card in the cpu will be overwritten with this?

  there's the creative xfi go, which is a usb sound card..

  I think some onboard soundcard allows you to choose which port to be the audio out. If your's supports it, you can maybe change the line in or the mic out to be the audio out instead.
