Basically, i just re-formatted my com from XP to Vista. ( Not upgrade ). I have two drives, i deleted the drive with the xp, and installed vista on that drive. Do i clicked delete parition, then install Vista on this partition. They didnt give me an option to format unlike xp installations. Here are some problems i'm facing now.
1. During Bootup, an option of whether i would like to boot the previous windows version or vista appears. when i select the former, they said files are missing. when i select vista, vista comes out normally.
2. after a few days of usage, the contrast of my computer suddenly becomes very bright. it's not the monitor adjustment. this get's very irritating as it comes hard to see icons and fonts.
3. I'm using a creative inspire 4.1 speakers. I lost one of the speakers and am using only 3 now. It worked fine in my XP but for vista, no sound comes out. i use an onboard motherboard sound. Realtek HD Audio Manager. I tried tweaking it, changing the cables but can only hear sound when i test the speakers using the manager but while listening to music or playing games, no sound.
Thanks in advance for the help. Appreciate it.
maybe the video/sound drivers not compatible, go to your computer manufacturer's homepage to download the video/sound drivers for vista

You might be right about that, but you do SEO also no need to come here and spam your link irrelevantly right?
