  i need to buy windows OS but i'm not sure which is buy and what is what?

  go to your control panel. There should be a system icon there. Double click that and you should be able to see your specs.

  i dun haf one because i cannot activate windows with the product key. i think it does not wrk anymore

  try calling microsoft support for help on activating your windows license. But you might want to try and get someone you know to see the computer 1st before calling support.
