Cant Access Ext HDD

im facing some difficulties with my ext hdd...
I cant access it although my PC can read the drive...
when i click on it, it reads "drive is corrupted or unreadable".
it was ok recently until i plugged a couple of devices into my PC...
what should i do?

maybe your drive under power? Any means of attaching ext power to your ext hard dics?
else try unplug other device before plugging your ext hd.
if your usb cable is split end type ensure to plug the 2 ends to ur comp before plugging into your ext hd.
if all else fail, consider doing a scan disc.

my ext hdd is running on ext power and i nv have this problem before...
my PC recognizes the ext hdd but when i tried doing a scan, it didnt respont to the command.
I have a feeling it's the drive. it was on H: previously i think but now it's on L:
i tried changing it but i can only use from J: onwards...

Download your hdd manufacture's diagnostic utility, and check the health of it.

then i googled and came across this solution to settle
it's under PROPERTIES -> SECURITY
related to the admin, owners, permission blah blah blah
something along this line lah
i anyhow click here click there, try this try tt then can liao
