Advanced Windows Care V3.
It removes tons of spyware not detected by AVG 8.0.
There's alot of system tools inculded which are free and 100% reliable.
It also helps to remove tons of useless information like cookies and temp file when surfing the net which ur IE cant do.
How sure are you it's efficient and another thing is how long have you been using it for? a day?

Erms,to be frank with u i have been using it for 1 week only.
It was introduced to me by a friend who works as a computer repairman,he repairs spoiled laptop and i actually told him about my slow computer.
So he introduced this software to me.
It will be the worst software if it crashes your PC. A lot that I help have lots of good to say about this software, but I beg to differ on it.

RAM booster, registry booster, etc don't really help in improving the speed of a PC.
A test has even been done to disprove them.

To improve Windows' performance, all the standard tips and tricks will apply. Disable unnecessary startup programs, disable unnecessary services, defrag it regularly, ensure that you have enough disk space left (at least 20%) , enough RAM, a big enough page file should keep it in tip-top condition.
And those pretty GUI are not needed. Once disabled, Windows works better.

Offtopic:Does vista only allows 3GB of ram?
Couldnt decipher this http://windowssecrets.com/2008/12/18/03-Access-more-memory-even-on-a-32-bit-system
As for the spyware/adware bit, I think I shall stick to Avast. I do agree with those tests. Actually, these 'speed up' utilities may slow down your computer, as proven with my old 2.4GHz Celeron D. Battlefield 2 used to run perfectly on that. Now, all you get is a lag.

If you are talking about Vista 32-bit, yes. However, on some systems, after upgrading to Vista SP1, they say that up to 4GB of RAM is being detected and being utilitzed.
Please note that 64-bit systems don't have a 4GB RAM limitation. If you encounter it, throw your motherboard away and ask for a refund from the shop.
PAE, or Physical Address Extension, is a method used to overcome the 4GB limitation in 32-bit systems (if supported) .
