40GB Portable HDD Can't Get Deteched by PC

  The light is still on. How come cannot get deteched??

  sometime could be connection problem. you can try dismental the casing, remove and connect the harddisk back. Ensure that the harddisk is spinning after connected to PC.

  if everything fail, its time to replace the harddisk.
