Need help to fix IE

  Anyone noe how to fix this? everytime i open the internet explorer it will gif me this error msg:

   

  "internet explorer cannot open the internet site [website]

  operation aborted"

   

  how to fix??

  i dunnoe why many are still using IE

  change to firefox or something else

  firefox uses 20k memory while IE uses 40k

  Try setting the homepage to "about:blank" and see if it helps. Right-click the shortcut for IE or Internet, select Internet Properties and set it from there. In the meantime, try out Firefox, Opera or Chrome, and I'm sure you'll never want to use IE ever again.

  Reset your IE settings to default. Remove Add-on plugins. If you are using IE 6x and below you can reinstall by windows component installation. If you are using IE 7x onwards download from Microsoft website and install the newest version. If you need live troubleshooting you can email your request to [email protected]

  If topic starter still need help, please let us know your proxy settings.

   

  • Click on Tools > Internet Options...
  • Select the Connections tab
  • Under Local Area Network (LAN) Settings, click on LAN Settings... button
  • A new window will open. Look under Proxy Server. If there's anything there, please post both the port number and proxy server address. If nothing is there, click on the Advanced button. Again, post back the details if any is there.
