I am not sure if there is a solution for this problem i am facing.
I use to have a HP 920c inkject connected to a PC which is wirelessly linked to my network in a separate room at home. The PC graphics up and died. Instead of changing the graphics or buy a new PC, I thought of seeing if it is possible to get a wireless print server to connect to the printer.
Challenge is the printer uses a LPT connector (I see an ethernet port too). So, hard to find wireless print server that still do LPT. So, is it cost effective and possible, to get a print server for USB and then get a LPT to USB converter?
I see there are such converters in the internet but does SLT sell such converters? Is the whole setup cost effective or should i just dump the printer and get either a USB printer and a wireless print server or just a wireless AIO?
Anyone familiar with this and could advice best approach for this problem?
Thanks
It would probably be less of a hassle to get a new printer instead. Just treat it as a X'mas upgrade - choose a good printer and it will be a worthwhile one.
