Laptop got problem . :(

  Hi , my first time here. :p

  Nice to meet you guys.

  Got a problem with laptop , need some advice. Some buttons on the keyboard cant be typed. For eg , the letter 'l' , zero.

  Also , there is problem with the brightness & volume of it. They can be adjusted to the lowest volume and dimmest , cant adjust it to make it brighter. Currenty , using on-screen keyboard to type some of the letters.

  Is there a way to solve it ?

   I thought the function within the system... turned out to be the buttons on the laptop... if so, try installing the updated drivers from your manufactor's website. If it doesn't work, you would need to visit the service center. Tablet? On screen keyboard wor...

  y not bring back to manufacturer?

  Go to your manufactuer website

  Search for your Model.

  Look under drivers.

  Download the Keyboard drivers

  Uninstall the current keyboard drivers

  Reinstall.

   

  A few questions:

  did you brush your keyboard? 

  did it hit water? 

  if there are, most probably, static had fried your keyboard- bring to your manufactuer service centre.

  Some buttons on the keyboard cant be typed.

  Hit the non-responding keys hard. Does those letters come out? If so, your keyboard is most likely going to be spoilt.

  If the buttons come out, I'm not going to be responsible.

  I only requested that the letters to come on screen if you press/hit the keys hard enough.

  I assume that those affected letters didn't come on screen. Kindly get another keyboard to test. If all works well, you can get your keyboard replaced.

  It's not a problem getting a new keyboard , can get one at $16. The problem is the brightness of the screen of the laptop . The button which controls the brightness of the screen isn't working.

  Cant get a keyboard that has the buttons that controls the brightness of the screen.

  Loose wire I think and definitely not drivers.If you know your way around,take out the keyboard and see if the cable is loose.
