Recently i manage to get some damaged HDD to dismantle so as to be able to see whats inside it . then i found 2 pieces of very strong yet slim magnet being glued to a metal backing . So does anyone know how to remove the magnet from the metal backing ? Cos i want to use the slim n strong magnet for some experimenting .

If you need some strong magnets to conduct your ambitious scientific experiments, get this:

I dun have credit card or debit card for billing . And no idea that company is oversea or local company . Don't want to go through so many trouble just to get some magnet .
go to DIY store, you should be able to get some magnets
Been to already , bought some at daiso claiming they were super magnet end up those magnet were weak n cumbersome . The cover show they use the magnet to stick tools example scredriver n spanner bigger then mine and never drop but when i try it using a small spanner n test pen , it will stick yes but will slide down and drop also :P . I hate companies overstating their products . Charge more if you want to but please honour your claim .
Use electricity? Wrap it around some iron. Should be able to make it strong enough. Not sure if it will be strong enough to remove the magnets though...
