I encounter this error whenever i tried to right click on an exe file or microsoft word file. Doesn't affect when i try to right on any folder.
Error Message:
"Your system clock appears to have been set back, possibly in an attempt to defeat the security system on this program. Please correct your system clock before trying to run this program again. If your clock is correct, please contact the author of this program for instructions on correcting this error (report code CCB-F)."
Nobody knows why?
this error appears when you try to set system clock back in order to prolong the trial version. If this is not the case, it can also happen if something is wrong with system clock without your participation (for example, exhausted battery on the motherboard). Please check if your system clock is correct and try to run the program again.
Few questions.
1) Does your clock always reset after you switch off your computer. Reset meaning your time is for eg: 11:29am, however whenever you switch on your computer, your date/ time will be - 12:00pm ect. - wrong date and time.
2)Have you installed any TRIAL software that might have expired. - if you do, please state the software and the developer
Most likely battery died.
How old your motherboard?

Probably. Or it could be an antivirus software @ fault. - Many such occurances happen and the only solution is to contact the developer directly for a code to resolve it.
Hands tied here.

Could be also, until TS can provide more info.
Just realised my clock is like one week slower. Didn't realise. Set it back to normal date but error still persist. Not long ago I just install ESET av. Not sure if it's the program causing the error. My laptop is 2 years old.

Will the date jump back to one week earlier after shutdown?
Yes, it's most probably ESET av.
Contact their helpdesk and give them the error as indicated.
No, it will not go back 1 week before after shutdown. Now the report code is 0,3627,3615 instead of the ccb-f
