Moving house and the Internet

  Hey guys, I'll be moving house temporarily for 2 months.

  What I would like to ask is that, since im moving house, is it possible to bring my current house's internet over to the tempo house?

  And if yes, how to?

  I know it's possible...

  but it's from me, i do not wish to get you into trouble.

  Just call up your internet service provider.

  Singnet borad band shifting will be very troublesome. if only temporary, then better don't shift. coz here is what you will need to do.

  1. call singnet that you are shifting telephone line and broad band.

  2. wait for at least 5 working days before the phone line is shifted to new location.

  3. There will be charges and it will bill to your phone bill.

  4. singnet cannot just change the borad band coz of different telephone number and billing issue.

  so better don't shift.

  So other than calling singnet to change lines, there is no other way to get internet service without calling singnet?

  Whether through the method of retaining my old line or a new one?

  if U are not on singnet contract...just cancel the line and resubscribe after ur 2 mths...in the meantime...use dialup if U are not into online gaming.

  U need to tell them u have change address and u will need to change the number which the digital signal will be send to i think .. and pray hard your new phone line aint screwed as mine.
