Speeding up torrent?

  Im torrenting a game now and it has been like 3 days alr but the download is only 25% completed \: got alot of people seeding (1800+) but i still dunno why so slow. 

  Is there any way to speed up the download? My internet speed is 3mbps and im using utorrent. I heard of opening port or router sth one but i dunno how lol. 

  So...how?

  Which software you using? Use uTorrent then set the incoming and outgoing thingy at the bottom right hand corner to "unlimited". Don't niao.

  get BitTorrent.

  It has a ranking system...the higher ur rank...the better ur connections.

  and as the rest has said...dont set ur download high high but upload to 0.

  Remember...the better ur upload...the better ur download...

   

  For ur port forwarding part....its a little technical.... http://portforward.com/routers.htm is a pretty good site to refer.

  I use UTorrent and .. There is a option for u to limit yourself to how many connect per torrent i set to 1k i think and yes forward your port.

  the port forwarding website i go alr. Then they ask which router i use but i cannot find lol. My router is 2wire 2701HGV-E. Its a miobox or something. How?

  my friend told me can do it by the ip address thing but i dunno how haha.

  Btw just now my dl speed reached a maximum of 700kb/s but now it went to to a pathetic 3kb/s. )=

  Can someone teach me how to forward port step by step?

  Because i really dont get what the other website's guide to port forwarding.
