Precaution if u take yr laptop for repair

If some of u choose to go to those small repair shops in the heartland or best still Sim Lim square.
Take Note: mark your part numbers down before giving them.
it is because one of my frends brought his for a repair service and he gave them the laptop battery. The laptop was defective and not the battery. He gave it to them for troubleshooting purposes.
In the end they did not return him his battery and claimed that he did not give them! He also noticed a stick of ram missing! The shop denied that they did anything unlawful, in the end my friend ended up in loss.
So just take down the part numbers, serial number model ect before briging to any repair shops.

The best way to prevent such issues would be to bring it to it's respective manufactuer's service centre.

last time i sent my pc for repair, the guy searched my computer for sex photos and videos, and he even open up a photo of my female ang moh friend, damn angry. i didn't confront him because i was at home and checked through my logs then i realize that's what he done along with fixing the computer. but these are just black sheeps, there are also very decent and nice amazing people.
