PacNet Lagging?

  I am a PacNet user and recently, have been experiencing immense lag. I am using a cable modem broadband unlimited.

   

  Need some assistance from the gurus here.

   

  When I log in, it takes millions of hours to load a page. Even though I tried refreshing my network, plug out the plugs from my cable modem etc, the connection seems back to normal. But after a while, it goes haywire again. But at times, everytime went smoothly.

   

  My enquiries are:

   

  a) Since it is running on Starhub line, are there any major cabling works that may be causing this? It was running alright all these while till recently.

   

  b) Is it because my network card/modem is faulty? How will I detect?

   

  c) I have some construction work going on around my block. Will that cause disruptions?

   

  d) I have checked for virus/spyware etc and it came clean. Duno wat's the problem. Hope you can assist me.

  Pac net unstable, expensive...

  since u said share with starhub..

  means also sharing 1 freaking box with ur neighbours..

  so yea.. speed might be shit when then log on together
