  An IP address can only be assigned to a single user at any one time. So if they need to prove that you're doing some hanky-panky under a particular IP address, all they need is to prove that you're assigned that address at that time with some connection logs they keep on their backend system.

  Because each ISP in Singapore pipe their users through a shared, transparent proxy server, and RS is dumb enough to identify us via the IP address of the proxy server instead of that of the user.
