no signal detected

  whenever I on my pc, it will run for awhile and stopped, then it will show me "no signal detected".

  i have to on off afew times to get it function properly.

  my fren suggested motherboard problem, but i dun noe.

  so wad could have been the possible causes?

  pls help me, getting very frustrated lor...

  What do you mean by "it will run for awhile and stopped" ? I presume that its the USB modem?

  like when i ON my cpu, it will run disk then power off in like 5secs?

  then it will show " NO SIGNAL DETECT".

  then i got to retry afew times b4 it run successfully to my windows.

  initially i tot my usb port overload, then i unplugged those unused, but stil same le..

  Could be power supply or motherboard problem. If you can find a spare power supply, you should try changing that first.

  The problem very likely lies with the motherboard. I got the same prob myself, whereby after a shutdown, it needs to be switched off for at least 15-20 minutes before it will boot. Swapping the PSU didn't help, for me at least, and I've wasted $65 on an extra PSU just to verify this.
