My desktop, os is WinXp, recently(few hours ago) started to have an error.
Typing on the keyboard would cause both the mouse and the keyboard itself to freeze and re-plugging will not help.
To ensure that it wasn't the keyboard that was faulty, i tested with another keyboard and the same thing happened.
It happened after installing Online armor firewall free which followed a reboot. Before that, i had also had ThreatFire installed.Following the problem, i had already uninstall both programs but the problem persisted.
The problem first happened when i went into safe mode to remove the virtual RAM.(Right click-Computer-properties-Hardware)
Suspect anything?
BTW, i had done a SUPERAntiSpyware scan with no threats found.
What do you mean by remove the virtual RAM? You mean set it to zero?
I can't find virtual RAM in My Computer -> Properties -> Hardware.
Unless you are talking about My Computer -> Properties -> Advanced -> Settings (Performance section)
Assuming that you have set Virtual Memory to zero, you need to set it back to at least 1.5 times your actual RAM size.
Seems to me like a driver issue here. you will need to reinstall the affected driver. Goto device manager to find out. Are you using a USB keyboard and mouse?

Yes, i forgot the route.
Earlier the VRAM was 300mb, and in my laptop VRAM was 0.

I'm using a Compaq keyboard. Do you have the link?
