Multi-user

  I trying to connect multi user for my internet usig thomson 516(i)v6....i cannot install it and i cannot find usb network adapter in my device manager in order to update my devices...using vista basic..singnet

  The device is not using USB. It is using LAN. Are you sure you it is using USB?

  hi it got two port one is erthernet and one is USB...

  You need to install the driver found in the disc that comes with the gateway.

  i have the same modem. it is not meant for multi-user.

  install it on ur computers as "first computer". for convenience, plug one of ur comp using USB while connect to ur other comp using lan wire.

   

  but, well, you can use 2 computers to surf the net at the same time.

  now i bought dlink router..but when i try to use my lap top to tap in to my router..it say security enable wireless network(WPA) when i click connect i cannot log in..it say require network key(also call a wep key or wpa key)

  i don know what to key..now i cannot go in.....help!!

  Its not complicated. Get a LAN cable and connect to your router to configure. Use the wizard provided.
