Need help. Comp keep restarting and freezing );

Today,when i first on my com,when it finally loaded to the starting page,within like 3-4 minutes,the computer will freeze up and i ahve to restart it. Sometimes when i open programs like photoshop the com will restart on its own. What is happening to my PC? );

might be a virus attack.

How old is your com nw? Have ya done anything like got lotsa pop-ups b4 u shut dwn previously? d/l AVG anti virus and go thru a scan and see how is it. any intensive gaming or new games tht u just started playing thts graphic intensive ?

My tablet pc got one time logo liao then full black liao.
Best soloution is to send to service ctr(most at Funan there)let that person on the com then help you fix.Then few daes later then go collect lol

no pop-ups recently. Scan alr,no threats found. New game yes,but graphic is definately not intensive \:

oh and on the desktop bar there got a update icon..it wants me to update to sp3,im not sure whether to do it or not. Heard its not good /:

are you running vista or xp?
My bet would be that there is a problem with your ram.

temporary not install the service pack first.
To test if it's a ram problem if you are using Vista:
- Start
- type "Memory diag"
- UAC will come out
- Accept.
- In order to run this, it will have to restart.
- After restarting, this tool will run and check your memory
Alternatively, You can use Memtest86+ (A better ram test tool)
It's an iso file, so you would have to burn it on to a cd and run it via there. I know that there are other programmes to run iso(s) without burning them, but it's best not, judging from the circumstances.
