Unsolved Laptop Problems even after Reformat

  Having problems with laptop after reformatting. How come i still have problems after reformat? This error msg seen in msn did not appear before reformat de. Here's the pic of the error. http://img529.imageshack.us/my.php?image=msnwm7.jpg Reformat like become worse. Can anyone help?

  well, this is not a problem.

  your laptop is all right.

  It's your firewall which is blocking it.

   

  i see you are using vista, so follow my steps

  1. start
  2. type in firewall in the search bar.
  3. Click on windows firewall
  4. you will come to a screen on windows firewall.
  5. The firewall should be turned on.
  6. click on "change settings"
  7. UAC will pop up, click continue
  8. you will see a windows firewall settings menu
  9. click on the exceptions tab
  10. tick on windows live messanger and windows live messanger (phone)
  11. click apply.

  if windows firewall is turned off.

  1. go to your anti virus software
  2. search for the firewall
  3. search for option which allows exceptions and then allow windows live messanger
