  Okay,

  Final decision... upgrade to 4gb..

  2 x 48 = 96..

  How's the service charge like?

  And technicality wise... will my lappie be sot sot or whatsoever after installing the 4gb ram?

  u see can waive off any service charge or not?

  must see how they upgrade ram too.

  certain brands very sensetive to ram upgrades.

  why no one ask whats the maximum memory the laptop can support up to? some laptops can only support up to 1.5gb

  Look for the product page for your laptop on your manufacturer's website; usually it's stated in there. If not, you can try running CPU-Z, get the model number of your motherboard and Google it for more information.
