[test] Megaupload is friendly.

I was trying to download a certain psx application today, but it had only came in rapid share and megaupload hosting links. ( people, especially singaporeans who hear about these file sharing websites will straight away shun them off - for 99% of the time, no one is able to download from these websites..
To my surprise, megaupload works. - you do not need to download any tool bars or anything.
Just type in the words that you see and wait for 45 seconds. The 1 file/ download still applies though.
After downloading the first file, i had no problems downloading the 2nd as promised. speeds are at 49.7kb/s on a maxonline 12mbps connection.
Ok, so here's the test.
I would like other forumers to test my claim.
-Hubbers (3)
-Singnet (1 weird, mayi cant)
-Pac net (1)
Try downloading something from Megaupload and post back if you are able to.

i'm able to download from megaupload as ts claimed while rapidshare remain unfriendly.
max speed i can get is 65kb/s.

I purchased the premium accout for both rapidshare and megaupload... Unlimited download, no waiting and constant speed of 400 kb/s...

Singnet, both cannot. Used to be able to download from Rapidshare, that's about a year ago.
Now I wait for people to download and send to me or upload somewhere else.

i normally ok with megaupload. just that it's slow. the fastest i ever got was 122kb/sec. the slowest was 19kb/sec. can sleep arh that one.

If I remember correctly, those who can download from Megaupload are those who installed Megaupload crappy programs. All my friends installed it and they downloaded successfully.
Only this stubborn ant refuses to and can't download.

I don't know if this works. But only when i switched on hamachi, then i downloaded from rapidshare, then it works ok. Singtel Mio user.

starhub user. megaupload works fine, but very slow, fastest i ever got is around 270kb/sec. slowest, 15-20kb/sec. rapidshare remains very unfriendly to me.

i am a StarHub MaxOnline Express(8mbps) user. I can settle with both, just that have to have some patience with Rapidshare. I have no problem with Megaupload, Rapidshare sometimes can, sometimes cannot. if cannot, i just wait for around 15mins to an hour before trying again. Mediafire is good.

i got a rapidshare premium since last year. this is how i do it to lessen the pay cost.
subscribe one month premium 15SGD. use until it expire. wait for 30 days( this is the maximum u can wait upon first day of expire. after that, the account will be non-existant)... when reaching the last day, renew your subscription. for 15SGD, use it until it's expire. wait for 30 days. renew again..
do this until u get 10,000 rapidshare points. with 10,000, u can renew your subcrption for free.
after the account expire, u can dump that account and start a new account with your fresh 8000 premium points
so one cycle cost about 45SGD which can last for 8 months. try to make full use and share the account with other people because you will be given 10GB each day to download.. it will accumulate until 50GB cap if u dont use it. i shared with my bro and another friend. end up paying 15 dollars for 8 months. trustme, its hard to download 300gb/month. your hard disk will be full until u decide to delete movies... ect
best is to share your acct with same service provider people. rapidshare got multiple IP detection thingy. if your friend and u got starhub, the multiple IP detection will not work because starhub is using the same external IP.( which explains why u cannot download from rapidshare as a free user because there's someone download using the same iP)
