Couple of questions

Hey all, been having a couple of problems with my laptop hope can get some help here...
1) My charger's wires are kinda exposed, as a result, when i boot up my laptop, the windows shows that the charger is not performing optimally and will affect my laptop performance. Is it possible that the charger is spoilt and its affecting my laptop performance?
2) My firefox is giving me some problems. The addons are not working and I am unable to open more than 1 ff window. I thought of reinstalling ff but then i have plenty of bookmarks. How can the bookmarks be saved somwhere so i can reinstall and solve my ff problem?

1. To answer your question, no. Charger has no effect on a laptop's performance, unless your charger isn't charging your laptop. This will force the laptop to go into power saving mode and affect the performance. This behaviour is default in laptops unless you've explicitly tell it not to.
Do note that even if you tell it not to, when battery levels go low, it will work in power saving mode as well. Reason is to protect itself. Battery that dies too many times will affect the hardware.
2. What version of Firefox are you using? You don't have to re-install Firefox to keep your bookmarks. There's a simpler way.
