I downloaded a movie from a torrent website.
But problem is when i tried to play it,real player prompts that i am playing a mpx file and therefore need to purchase a mpx player for USD$3.95.When i tried looking at the file properties,it states .avi file. How do i play the file?
vlc.
Thanks so much for the prompt reply.I tried but still not possible to play with VLC.
Another question,i tried burning a movie i downloaded using NERO but it prompts that i have a Missing feature: Mpeg 4 Decoding. Where can i download this feature?
And also,my download has been split into CD1 and CD2,can i just run make video in Nero and add both the CD in?Total is only about 1.5gb so guess a dvd should be more then enough to burn?
What's the error that VLC Player gave you?

Yes, a DVD should be more than enough.
There is no error given. When i play the movie, the screen plays a word "Please download MovieXplayer to play the movie".Then after a few seconds,VLC hangs and i got to shut it down manually.
Googling MovieXplayer gives me funny results. I don't like the results.
Where did you download VLC Player from?
