My Windows Live Messenger suddenly disappeared since morning... as in, it cannot open up the Messenger on startup nor showed up on the right side of the taskbar, even though its still have the entry of 'msnmsgr.exe' in the Task Manager's Processes List.
I tried uninstalled everything of Live, and reinstalling. (2x this process) already. Restart and restart... Still cannot open up the program...
Then,
It's still have the entry of 'msnmsgr.exe' in the Task Manager's List of Processes. I tried to disabled and enabled the entry again and again... restart and restart... still there the entry BUT the program cannot open up on startup.
I didn't do anything...e.g. install new things or what...
Please help.
Thank you.
I tried off/on the cable modem + router, can liao. solved, at least for the time being.
Sounds like a classic case of explorer.exe crash.
1. Did you shut down your PC? Or is the PC already running this morning and you noticed that MSN icon disappeared and can't run?
2. Did you notice that suddenly your desktop icons are gone?
