how to change drive letter/assignment??

  just now i was installing windows to a new hdd, then i partitioned into 2 drives; so its supposed to be c: and d: but now in My Computer, it shows c: and e: (the d: is actually taken up by the dvd-rom drive) how to change frm the e : to d: ?

  right-click and choose "Manage" on "My Computer"
