started the group 3 years ago. We are recognised by the Ubuntu as
Official Ubuntu Team in Singapore , https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LoCoTeamList.
We will also be one of the participants of the up coming Software
Freedom Day event and have recently moved to a new website and forum at
http://www.ubuntu.sg.
We would like to take this opportunity to invite everyone in this
forum to join us in our quest to spread the spirit of Ubuntu Philosophy.

Ai yah...I Fedora user...
Its alright ... we have no prob with who is using what distro. Almost every Linux users try out other distros anyway. I myself have used solaris , sles , sled , fedora core, fedora , rhel , slackware , freebsd , gentoo , debian and so on.
LOL... the logo looks like a cross between monkey and lion.
Yup it was as close as we can get to Singapore Lion and Ubuntu Logo. Thanks for the feedback.
Just a short note for the site , ubuntu.sg
It is configured with Joomla CMS +phpBB forum using JFusion bridge so if you register on the Joomla , main site , you account will be available at the phpbb forum as well.

ok....hope U guys have helpful tutorials to help newbies migrate over to Linux...I might try getting Ubuntu Live into my thumbdrive to try it out...Fedora 9 has an update problem with its Live version....fully updated means cannot run liao....of course got ways to bypass the problems but somehow...softwares and updates are not quite "Live-safe"...not sure about Ubuntu Live...
