betas are not meant to be working nicely.
That's why people using beta are collectively called beta-testers.
FireFox 3 ftw
nvm liao
they have the compatability view
click that everything is fixed
Err... expect IE8 not to work. According to MS, they are trying their best to be standards compliant. What this means - a lot of websites will break, because, previously, most websites are not standards compliants and are built around IE.
Things should change when IE8 is released. Most of the websites I tested broke.
microsoft products cannot come out jiu use one.
hahaha
muz wait.

Using compatibility view on IE8 is as good (or should I say, bad) as running IE7 itself.
Unfortunately, that's the price of bad programming on MS side. Because they produced a non-standards compliant browser, forcing most to code in a non-compliant way as well. When it attempts to be standards compliant, things broke.
And this applies to most browsers as well... Firefox is the first thing that comes to mind...

Well, at least they have taken the first step with the production of IE8, after realizing that Firefox and other alternatives have chewed off a large portion of their market share. But I guess it's all too late by now; even Google has already stood up with its revolutionary Chrome. You can't win the today's browser competition simply by throwing in a porn mode, implement standards that should have been done years ago, increment the version number and call it a day.
i think they should work on security and stability instead
i dun like IE when i oppen too long, my ram usage tends to keep increasing
i wonder is IE's problem or vista
