Internet Router Problems

  Hi all,

   

  I unplug all the computer cables as i need to shift the furniture around.

   

  Plug back into the same usual socket but one computer was able to surf net another one cannot.

   

  I figure it might be something to do with Static Ip adress . not sure.

   

  Question is can i use system restore to get everything working back as usual ? lolz...Or there is some very straight forward ways ?

  Did you unplug them after your computer shut down or just unplug them without following proper shut down procedures?

  Plug back into the same usual socket but one computer was able to surf net another one cannot.

  Between unplugging it and plugging it back in, how long did you wait?

  TS: are you able to ping the router from the computer which is not able to surf the net?

  Let me guess.. you're using starhub internet right? Try this:

  1. Switch off the power to your modem.
  2. Switch it on again.
  3. Try to log on to the internet and let us know how it goes.
